Established in 2008, we produce the now-extinct classic songket from South Sumatra, preserving and maintaining the authenticity of the classic motifs. In addition to songket, we also revive the extinct Palembang teked embroidery and apply it to a manual machine embroidery system. We continually strive to explore extinct South Sumatran motifs for further production and preservation, making us a pioneer in preserving the classic songket motifs in South Sumatra. In addition to producing and preserving Wastra, we also conduct weaving training in areas where weaving once existed, but has since become extinct. The goal is to revive the weaving tradition in the region.
