Dimas Batik

Fabric Tasikmalaya
Dimas Batik is a traditional batik micro-business from Tasikmalaya, established in 1987 and known for preserving the original wax-resist (malam) technique. As the last standing handwritten batik maker in the region, Dimas Batik empowers local housewives as artisans while preserving cultural heritage. Its unique motifs—such as Merak Ngibing and Cupat Manggu—have reached national markets and are exported to Japan and Singapore.
